Meet The Team

The Core Team

John is the Senior Pastor at Bethel Baptist Church and has been pastor since 2018.

John loves playing Golf and spending time with his family.

Kyle is the Youth Pastor and has been the youth pastor since 2020.

In his down time, you will find Kyle playing football or going out for food.

Beci is responsible for Church and Community Events and is also on the Core Team.

You will usually find Beci in the woods at Church or with her head in a book.

Andrew is a member of the Core Team.

Andrew is married to Sheila and they enjoy spending their time down the glorious place of West Wales.

Alan is also a part of the Core Team.

Alan is married to Angela, and they love spending their weekends with the grandchildren.

Alex is the Children’s worker at Bethel. He has a real passion for working with and helping children to develop.

Alex loves to spend time with friends and family, and going to watching football and rugby games.

Neil overseas the life groups ministries which are our small groups at Bethel.

Like John, Neil loves playing Golf and spending time with his wife Beci and 4 Children.

Karen is head of the pastoral care ministry.

Karen loves to bake so you will sometimes find her in the Kitchen making cakes. If you are new, please buy a cake from Karen, they are life changing!

James is the head of the production team which allows our services to be broadcasted live.

James is married to Lucie-Jo and they have two kids who they love spending time with.

Paul is the head of Evangelism at Bethel.

Paul is married to Rhi and they are from Caerphilly but have a big heart for Pontyclun and want to see God move in incredible ways.
